What you need to know about the coronavirus.
What is the coronvirus?
When did it become a pandemic?
What can you do to protect yourself?
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) has launched a public health campaign called “Make It Real,” to give doctors the tools they need to protect themselves.
The campaign, which was launched today on the NIAID’s Facebook page, features an animated video that includes clips from medical professionals across the country, as well as a photo of a doctor in a medical scrum.
The video asks doctors to share their personal stories, such as how they survived a brain bleed or a heart attack, to show the importance of taking a shot if you or someone you love is diagnosed with the coronivirus.
The clip also shows how a doctor helped a child get into a car seat, and how a parent helped their child with a seizure.
The NIAIDS said in a statement that the campaign is designed to “bring awareness and inspire confidence for healthcare professionals and communities to get ready to tackle the challenge of the coronacovirus.”
The campaign is also being used to educate the public about the importance to take an anti-COVID vaccine as soon as possible.
Dr. James Fauci, the president of the American Academy of Pediatrics, said in the statement that there are so many different ways to protect a child, and the vaccine is essential.
“It can save a life, and that’s why the AAP supports this campaign,” he said.
The AMA has also launched a new website, AskAnAMA, which encourages people to contact their doctor about the best way to protect their children and to ask about the CDC’s recommendations for the vaccine.
Dr, Jeffrey M. Sacks, chairman of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, told CBS News that this is an important step.
“The vaccine is the first-line option for prevention, but there are many other ways to go about protecting children and families from COVID-19, he said, and added that the vaccine campaign is a step in the right direction.”
Our best bet is to get the vaccines into people’s hands and make sure we get enough,” he added.
The National Institutes of Health is also launching an emergency medical services website today, as the CDC has been preparing for a potential rise in cases of COVID.
The website will include information about COVIDs and the resources they can use.
The coronaviruses are transmitted through coughing, sneezing and other air travel.
Most cases of coronaviral illness in the U.S. are caused by COVID and can be prevented through prompt and effective immunization.
