Atalantans 2-0 Atalante is the Italian side who’ve had a rough go in the Europa League but it’s not over yet.
They’re also a team who will be under pressure to go all out at home on Sunday, having played to a 0-0 draw against Roma and were also forced to play in a cold and rainy atmosphere at the Allianz Arena.
A quick look at the players to watch: Giuseppe Rossi – A centre-back, Rossi has been an important part of Atalantic’s defensive record, and with the addition of Dani Alves to the midfield, he could see more playing time.
In a team that’s struggled to keep possession, Rossi will be looking to impress.
Marco Bolaño – The former Chelsea defender has also played well, as he scored the winner for Atalantes.
The Uruguayan has had a tough time in Serie A this season, scoring two goals in five games, but has a big part to play for his side as he will likely be the main man of the defence.
Jurgen Klinsmann has named a new starting XI with the World Cup coming up.
It is also a time when Atalanto’s players will need to be ready to face the Italian giants at the Stadio San Paolo.
Paulo Bento – Bento is a central midfielder who has been a key part of the Atalas defence, and his goal against Roma was the first time that he has scored a Serie A goal.
With Atalanti also looking to play from the back, Bento will be keen to get the best of his team-mates.
Paulo Dybala – Dybalas form this season has been one of the best in the league, and has been on fire since his arrival from Barcelona, scoring seven goals in 12 appearances for the club.
It was a little surprising that he was left out of the starting XI against Roma, but the Uruguay international is a player who will look to score and get the assist.
The young winger will also be looking for a goal, which will be the case with his new team-mate.
Roberto Mancini will be expecting his best performance in front of his fans at San Paoli, as the Bianconeri are looking to continue their run of form in Serie B.
